Designer says "Irises are one of my favorite flowers. As I lean towards purples and blues in general, perhaps this is not a surprise. So, it was high time that I designed a cross stitch pattern featuring this flower. An extra bonus that I recently learned: irises are the state flower of Tennessee. How perfect then to be releasing this design at Nashville!"

Model stitched on 32 count linen using five ThreadworX ( 10151 Royal Blue; 10580 Dark Jade; 10582 Emerald; 011631 Brass Hardware; and 10361 Indian Brown) and two DMC (552 and 550). Stitch count is 147 x 212. Finished size is approx. 9.19 in wide X 13.25 in high.
